Soooo,....

YOU'VE BRUTALLY R*RRRRRRA**** AISED the bar on my promotion. Geez, am I a legend? *hopeful*

Rig responds:

Yes sir!

Tight!

Holy shits, that's tight as hell man. The bass is like... metronomic! The mixing is shit, but who gives a fuck about that anyway? Sweet job.

Eternalreich responds:

Heh, Metal.

Hmmmmm

Beautiful. Of course, I'm none to familiar with Morbid Angel, though I do know who they are and a few of their tracks.

Eternalreich responds:

I suggest listening to Gateways to Annilalation

Hmm...

I really like this. Except for the crackling. The crackling really really undermines how well this song is done.

bitium-ribbon responds:

I hear you. This was done before I knew how to turn down the volume properly, and as such is far too loud

Still, glad you think it's good!

Veddy Nice

I really like the way the guitar grinds and the evil type atmosphere is great! Not so keen on the flute part, but the piano is kinda cool.

I like the synths, and the backing stuff for that, still not so keen on the bass tone. But, meh, not everyone knows the art of bass tonage. XD I really like that synth solo! :D

Great work. 10 from me.

Screaming good as usual!

Your vocals, the higher ones go out of tune ocassionally, and you get a TINY bit nasally (I have the same problem) but you know what? It still sounds great! The screaming, of course is great too...

Wow, who ever covered this got it like... down! hha.

TwilightNecrosis responds:

Yeah, man, Nicholls kicks total ass.
I know, I know, I'm not the best singer, but you know what?
I will never, ever degrade myself to the point of using software to enhance my voice. Ever.
Why? Because that's just cheap.
Thanks for the honesty, and you're exactly right, it's not perfect.
But guess what? Neither am I.
METAL FOREVER!!!

Very good.

Compositionally, and playing wise. I really really like it. It's pretty intense, but peaceful.

Kor-Rune responds:

Thank you :)

Guitar = HEAVY

That guitar has got to be some of the most brutal I've heard from you in a while. HOLY CRAP> Great job

DarKsidE555 responds:

I was playing around with the EQ a little more, got a pretty neat plug-in as well now. Glad you liked it man! Thanks for checking! :)

Nice song...

I would like it better though, if your tone allowed me to know what was going on. Lots of unnecessary bass flying around. The drums are kinda drowned out, and the lead guitar... oh wait are they synthesized?

I like the vocals, to a degree. It's interesting anyway. Not my favorite, but hey. Get some good recording material and hey!

BTW, you sound like a Germanic lemmy

Schleif responds:

thanks for the review man, i'll keep the stuff you said in mind. germanic lemmy, haha! i'll just take that as a compliment, then =p keep rocking!

Here's why I like it.

This song has great composition. The mixing, while on the quiet side is very balanced. The song is very open actually. You've got a unique rhythm sound and take on that. Most songs have a huge guitar sound and everything else takes a backseat, this one seems slightly different in that your guitar is being used as PART of the backing section and the lead guitar is where you see most of the work done.

Unique sound, unique composition. Intense. And yes, very videogamey. :D Sweet skills yo.
