I really like it!

Those drums are freakin' great! Sure they are sorta weird sounding, but for single micing, they are really really great! I only give you an 8/10 because its only a single guitar track, and I can't always hear whats going on.

You were right, this is metal up the ass... It will be used on NG, for something. Awesome flash. :-)

Nice work.

I liked this, I really did. I don't know what you were going for, but it really is a heck of a lot more ambient than anything else because of the fact there is no kick drum. I find that weird. But regardless, I enjoyed it, so don't let it get you down.

funkyjunky responds:

Thank you, your not wrong I only just noticed that the kick didint seem to get into the midi i used in fruity loops?
Annoyed me a bit, but It doesnt make much of a difference!
Glad you liked this :)

You must have a pretty progressive church

Dude this seriously is great. But man, if I tried to play this at my church all of them would shun me hard.

itsameyayo responds:

Lol, u serious? Yeah, we're pretty contemporary, but I have another less 8-bit version that has more real instruments, so that would have worked for church. You must have a more traditional church?

-Well cool, I liked your song, and thanks for the review!

-ImperfectDisciple

Sounds really frickin' awesome.

I am really, really happy with the way this ended up turning out. You made my voice sound even better than I thought. You mixed them really well and it's a hell of a lot cleaner than my poorly mixed version.

Thanks for using this, haha, lots of fun.

Rig responds:

Thanks for the vocals, man! They rule, and I got to teach myself about hardcore vocal mixing in the process.
It's just what the song needed :D

Dude.

This works perfectly with some lyrics I wrote, so much emotion is hidden in this. It's amazing dude.

Amazing...

Except for your vocals.... not really. They are good, but a few times you went for a lower note and some how you went a little flat, and that happened like twice. Other than that, enjoyable listen and good playing. Nice job with the bass too.

jnry3 responds:

Thanks, man! You're the... *counts*... 7th person to mention that my vocals need work. No worries; pretty aware of it.

Hmm... the lower notes. Yuuuup... did sound off. Will try to tweak it when I get home.

Thanks for the review, five and nine! Really appreciated it! ^_^

Unique feel.

This has a unique feel given you are trying to represent flight with so many toms. Unique, because toms usually are tribal and "heavy" Interesting sounds and nice bass sequence.

jnry3 responds:

Thanks for the review and insight! ^_^

I can still hear my bass in the beginning LOL!

It took me a year to realize this but, my bass is still in there. All this time and I never realized it. Great job with this, I always loved this tune and particularly what was done with it. I never realized that my bass was in there until I listened to the original raw track and then this. Cool.

DarKsidE555 responds:

Nope, it's not. See, I only have the guitars in. Sry to disappoint you there...I don't even know why I didn't put your bass in back then... :/

This kicks all sorts of ass!

Alright dude, I already said a lot to you privately, but! I really enjoy this version, the SFX are really sweet. However, I do wish the bass had more click so it popped out from the guitar a little. Another thing you could try is take a bit of low end of the guitar. ^_^ It's up to you though. I just prefer to have the bass have it's own space and the guitars stay out of it.

DarKsidE555 responds:

I know what you mean man. I try with future submissions...though, be aware that the podxt is not a good for bass recording. I have a bass, yes...but it can never obtain the full power with a guitar based virtual amp.

Anyways, thanks yet again for the kind words! :D

Sounds more like F-Zero now.

I love the theme and everything really, but I seriously think it turns it from an interesting blend of metal and Japanese folk to just something from F-zero. Really great job though.
