Nice!

I enjoyed this. The bass was mixed weirdly in my opinon, but w/e I really enjoyed the sound of it, the drums were kinda interesting too. I wish I knew the song. Oh well, vocals?!

Interesting....

I dunno, this really isn't doing it for me... New Wave or no.

The bass groove is like, weird as hell, and the percussion... what in the... Well...
Assuming you don't just suck a noobs ;) I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you wanted this to sound WEIRD.

Good luck.

aWEsome!

I got the lyrics for ya. Just sit tight! :D

GREAT AWESOME> I loved the bass. it was pretty sweet!

TwilightNecrosis responds:

B-E-A-utiful.
I knew somebody would come through for ol' TN!
I can't wait to hear those bad boys.
Metal forever!

Second only to orion?

Maybe not, but man as far as metal instrumentals go, this one kicks a lot of ass.

I really like the tapping thing, and the subtle choir in the background. And, the breakdown is sick, harmonized guitars rule.

XxCowMeatxX responds:

SECOND TO ORION?!?! wtf!! lol jk thanks alot bro. im glad u likd the song.

stay brutal \m/

I like the idea but...

Alright man, I appreciate the idea, but what the heck took you two days? There is no real amount of overdubbing the guitar ideas is cool and everything but its not layered much at all, the vocals are muffled out of time, tune and stuff....

I wish I could invite you over here so you could at least play bass and I'd sequence drums or something... holy crap.

Dude901 responds:

well it wasnt 2 days solid, it was more like 3 hours total. and i only had the mac program garage band to work with. i would like to re-do this song one day but i dont have the proper equipment.

I'm gonna suspend my usual.

I like the way you used punk-o-matic to make this, but I have a challenge to you. Try and record this yourself, it will be a lot smoother and more feeling I'll bet you...

I like way you combined all this, but... I dunno it just sounds so... emotionless. I dunno, take it as you will. Punk-o-matic and things will never beat a real musician playing through the tracks.

Also I can tell when loops end and begin and that is rather annoying to me.

ADR3-N responds:

I'll have a go at recording it, but it could take a while. I was just having a little fun with it cause I was bored. Thanks for the review :P

Metal is attitude.

Lets just say that Metal is about the attitude, and setting genuine emotions free in a raw form. Let's just say that this works for that quite well. :D

I've had loss myself, and I know the emotion. I wish I heard this before, because I am sure it would be playing through my head.

As everyone else said... record it at a lower volume and then bring it up with the prog to avoid static/clipping, and for the whole thing use a compressor to avoid that "everyone is playing at the same time clipping" Thanks for posting this, interesting way for me to start the Easter.

ADR3-N responds:

Heheh, I planned that well, then. Good to know that you like it :)

I recorded it at low volume, but there were so many instruments (3 different guitars, 1 key board, one crappy old make-shift loud as hell bass and then there was extra static to boot) that it sounded loud and wierd. I mixed it with head-phones because my parents were trying to watch a baseball game, so I knew there had to be flaws, but I didn't think people would like it as much as they do.

Very nice!

The drums get repetative. Thats my only complaint, Ireally really like this song for some reason though. Its very catchy.

Be careful of panning the drums, a cool idea, but the kick in my left ear kinda feels weird. HAHA! I really like the riff though, and the bass overdub during the breakdown is supercool.

Xth responds:

Well I've played that melody on my guitar and it was stuck in my head for days!!!!! I wrote this song around this riff so that's why it gets a little repetitive. I agree that that drum part is a little weird. But I personally kinda liked it. Thanks for the review!!!

GREAT! But..

The solo is too loud. There is no rhtyhm part under the solo. It's catchy, but it was also sort of weird.

We write the same!

I write stuff the same way you do!

I really liked this, but its 80's! Just kidding. I really liked it, but I thought the guitar was too in the background and the tone was kinda muffled. Its not that I didn't like it, it just felt to me that the guitar wasn't *there* in comparison to the rest of it. I really like the panning effects though.

Kinda repetative, but still enjoyable.

Xth responds:

Glad you liked it and thanks for the review. It's a little repetitive because it will have lyrics. I'm gonna upload the final version when I find the vocalist! 8-) Thanks again.
